It is natural for parents to want to help their kids get the best grades and get into the best schools. The current trends parents have adopted though are problematic.
As a result, far too many young adults are simply lost when making decisions when away from their parents. The results are:

Employers report that graduates are unprepared for the workforce.
Nearly half of today's employers have had to fire a recent college graduate.
